Jim crow laws were the legalization and just another way to restrict and segregate African Americans from white Americans. They were came from racists to benefit racists. Jim crow laws caused white on black, and black on white violence. They taught younger generations racial segregation normal in the united states for a long time, and still places today there is racial turmoil.
